    The Crystal River in winter

The Crystal River in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado lives up to its name on cold winter mornings. One of the few undammed and undiverted rivers in the state, the Crystal is a candidate for Wild and Scenic designation. The red rock formations and the sparkling river make for magical scenery in every season.
