Beatle Mythology and a Lost Film

My introduction to the Beatles was while making
a film ( all footage and music lost unfortunately )..
John Lennon, although dramatically misquoted when he made his statement about the Beatles being bigger than Jesus Christ, was on target about the religious nature of pop idolatry
In the process of shooting a film about the Beatles in
England and the US, I was amazed to find a trail of
people and events that fit like a glove into a greater
parable much like all religions in their formative years.
I found it amazing interviewing the people who revolved
around the Beatles, managers, family, friends who
never distanced themselves very far from the fire
almost 50 years later!. Since the Beatles themselves really incurred very little real media dirt and were a class act throughout - it was easy to see why.
There really exists a "Beatles World' so to speak where
people live and breathe the imagery,i.e, witness the hundreds of books and sanctioned bootleg recording scraps where devoted fans clamor for more and more.
It was like being in the Harry Potter magic store for the
1st time - given the wink wink and the nudge. .
Our film footage and music, all of which was lost in Liverpool mysteriously will not see the light of day unless someone helps us recover it. Perhaps those
interviewed or the remaining Beatles will help out again.
I personally doubt that the film can be found, but, like the Beatles was incredible fun!
