The World's Largest Hail Stone vs. The World's First Automobile Protection System

5 years ago, our family began a journey to create a portable remote controlled hail protection system for automobiles. 3 years ago, our latest prototype not only met our expectations but exceeded them. Our first test, 3 years ago, started with a single ice cube dropped from 70 feet in the air. This month, January 2014 in a demonstration for insurance industry executives, we dropped a 5 pound medicine ball from 71 feet in the air. The drop equaled approximately 20% more impact energy than the largest hail stone in the history of the world! (1.9375 pound hail stone, which fell in Vivian, South Dakota, July 23rd, 2010)
We launched to market in August 2013 after 5 years of development and testing. A family's entrepreneurial journey. Pushing the limits of practical technology to take on a $1 billion yearly issue for automobile owners and insurance companies in the USA alone. It was an epic test and the highest level yet of the Hail Protector System capability.
