    Salute to troops

    Greatest Genration

I am Owen Williams, a former submarine sailor from the cold war. My father, Bernard (Bernie) Williams is a WWII Navy Veteran.. He served Aboard Landing Ship Tank (LST-292). He feels he did not contribute much during the war. I found a picture of his ship on which he was embarked on Omaha Beach. The attached picture shows his ship on Omaha beach LST-292. I also enclosed pictures of my dad and his brother, Neal Williams served in the Army Air Corp during the occupation of Japan. My brother Donald retired from the Air Force and served in both the FAA and the United States Secret Service K-9 Corps. Dad and his brother are still with us ages 87 and 86 respectively. Their father served in WWI and his father served in the VA 7th Calvary during the Civil War. We are all firm supporters of our armed forces and to this day support our troops the world over. My brother is one of the country's top K9 Military Working Dog trainers. I would consider it an honor if you would salute our father and uncle along with all others who serve now and in the past.
