This iReport is part of an assignment:
Winter weather 2014
Tomorrow is another day!
By Marinés Lares. For those who suffered from the snow day in Atlanta trapped in their cars, their families, the children and parents separated for such a long time powerless to reach out each other; for the teachers who put first their students and took care of them like their own children: my empathy.
I can not imagine being there without any evacuation plan, or something to remedy the situation. It shows us how vulnerable we are.
This should be a learning lesson as to trust our own instincts and count on them to take our own precaution. Tomorrow is always another day and time is the best remedy to move on. I hope all of you have received counseling and support because it was not easy what happened to you! Be safe.
