    Established in 1973, European University is one of the oldest business schools in the European Union. Though the institution has a rocky start, since the management buyout and take over lead by the current President, Dr. Dirk Craen, the university’s reputation and quality have only grown stronger.

    Here are five reasons whyEuropean University is one of the best business schools in the European Union.

    Center of excellence

    The 2013-2014 Quacquarelli Symonds Global 200 Business Schools Report, listed European University at large (including campuses in Switzerland, Germany and Spain) a ranking of 34, up five places from the 2011 ranking. A marker for the quality of education at European University.

    European University also has accreditations from several international higher education organizations. The institution is accredited by the ICBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs), the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), among others.

    Offers pragmatic business education

    European University focuses on the case study method of learning to teach how business theory can be applied to real life situations. Classrooms at the institution are a melting point of different cultures and students get to learn from each other as well as from the faculty.

    Small class sizes

    According to research, a small student-teacher ratio leads to an increase in academic achievement. European University has an average professor-student ratio of 1:9. Students have a better opportunity to improve of improving their leadership skills, soft skills and business ethics, since they receive more personal attention from the tutors.

    Regular evaluations

    Students are regularly evaluated on the coursework they are taught. This constant feedback enables them to know how they stand vis-a-vis their course content. It also helps them to plan their studies better.

    English proficiency is a critical skill if you want to build a successful career, on an international scale. So all courses at European University are taught in English. Exam, lecture, assignment and thesis work will be conducted in English.
