    Future Dreamer

Isabelle Inthisone is a 9 year old figure skater and future dreamer of competing for Team USA. Her passion for the sport is shown through her everyday dedication. She literally skips onto the ice rink for practice...6 days a week. There are many times when she is the only one on the ice at 6 am in the morning. We don't consider it a "sacrifice" on the family but more of way of living an every day life and embraced it whole heartedly. Everyone plays an important role to make it work. Ecspecially Isabelle, as she takes ownership of her passion by being an independent and responsible individual. Often times, both parents need to work extra long hours to support her dreams or be with her younger brother, Ben, at his activities and cannot always be there for her. However, she is so focused that other skating parents often tell us how impressed they are by her determination.
As parents we try to teach and instill in her the value of family, hardwork, and sportsmanship. We always recount to her that her story began with the dream that was started by both set of grandparent some 35 years ago who fled communist Laos with their young family for better opportunity and freedom. Because of their dream to come to a country where dreamers can pursue their vision, she is able to work on hers that is why she would love to represent the greatest country on earth. Go Team USA!!!
