    GA Port Authority warehouse fire

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Savannah College of Art and Design student Austin Hein saw thick black plumes of smoke outside his apartment in Savannah, Georgia, on February 8. The smoke was coming from a Georgia Port Authority warehouse that was burning three miles away. His initial reaction was to grab his camera and friends to take photos. He says many of the roads were blocked off by police who were redirecting traffic. Once they were within a mile of the smoke, he took some photos of the smoke. 'From where we were you couldn't smell anything,' he said. While out he started getting texts from his school to stay inside to avoid the smoke, so within an hour they turned back and went home.
