    Shopping Carts New Home

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MarieSager said this shopping cart on Skid Row in Los Angeles, California, caught her eye while she was on her way home. "Since it was found near Skid Row, I assume a homeless person borrowed the shopping cart," she said. "I think the cart is being used [as] a place to keep the homeless person's stuff." Needless to say, she doesn't think that the shopping cart will ever be returned to the store it came from, which she doesn't necessarily feel is a bad thing. "It's found another purpose and is being put to good use," she said.
    - Verybecoming, CNN iReport producer

Assignment: While traveling home on the train yesterday from the LA Travel Show in Long Beach, I looked out the window and noticed a blue shopping cart. I thought to myself, it's found a home with the homeless on the extended street of Skid Row. I doubt if this cart will ever be returned, as it's found another purpose and is being put to good use.

This photo also gave me reason to count my blessings once again.
