    Atlanta Icepocolypse 2014

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Christian Rettinger Mock, a commercial photographer and marketing consultant, captured the Atlanta snow in the glow of the city's lights at night. He started in Buckhead and finished his photo journey at Atlantic Station Wednesday night. To capture these images, Mock used long exposures and a digital camera back, which is a device that attaches to the back of the camera in place of a film holder; it uses an electronic image sensor. The 10-30 second exposures, along with that device, capture "all the colors, lights, just about everything that’s in the way of the lens," he said. "You see the serenity of a usually busy city, the calmness a little bit of snow and ice can bring, and the peace."
