The morning school rush in Brooklyn, New York

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Rick Ho captured the morning rush to Brooklyn’s P.S. 169 Bay Terrace elementary school in a clever way: He condensed the 30-minute rush into a 95-second time-lapse video. Mayor de Blasio was heavily criticized for keeping New York City schools open during the snowstorm. "The cars were getting stuck because the street is on a slight incline, and the street hadn't been plowed,” Ho said. “So people had to get out and push the cars."

Mayor de Blasio decided to keep NYC Schools open despite a pretty huge storm forecasted. Cars were stuck due to slow plowing of the streets in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Drivers needed help from one another to help move them along.

This is a time lapse video on Feb. 13, 2014 from 9-9:30 a.m outside PS 169.
