Harvey Greenwald Puts Trust in St. Augustine
Harvey Greenwald was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Harvey was 11 years old when his family arrived in San Diego. It was that same year when his parent’s divorced. So for the next seven years, Harvey Greenwald lived with his grandfather, Dirk Wagennar, and his aunt Beverly Campos. His grandfather and aunt were quite wealthy and had no problem taking in Harvey while his folks settled their nasty divorce.
Dirk Wagennar had no complaints when it came to taking care of young Harvey. Only complaints Beverly Campos had was that Harvey didn’t move in with them sooner. Though his immediately family seem to be falling apart, it brought the rest of his family closer together.
His aunt had a heavy influence on him to get in touch with their Catholic faith. While living under their roof, Harvey Greenwald put his Trust in Saint Augustine church. Harvey learned many things since he put his trust in St. Augustine church and he feels that his life is complete now that he has God in it.
His grandfather was known horse trainer in his community. Dirk Wagennar thoroughly reviews his horses to ensure they would win competitions. Harvey did learn many things about himself through the years of working with these horses. But Harvey Greenwald learned that he could accomplish anything if he stayed focused and dedicated.
Being heavily influenced by his grandfather and aunt, Harvey Greenwald decided to pursue a career in media and communication. His grandfather also taught Harvey how to live a balanced life. “My grandfather would always tell me, you can always make money, but you can’t always live life,” shares Harvey, “he told me that as I left for college and since then I promised him and myself to live life to the fullest.”
He completed his BA in 2010 and is very close to completing his master’s degree.
