Nancy Baglione and The Aesthetic School of Canada
Prior to becoming a school director, Nancy was an aesthetic instructor for Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. With over 25 years in the aesthetic industry, Nancy Baglione is more than experienced. Nancy received her Advanced Aesthetic Diploma and Medical Aesthetic Certification with Honors from Zehava School of Esthetics and Cosmetology.
Upon receiving her diploma and certifications, Nancy Baglione opened several spas throughout Canada. When she isn't busy directing The Aesthetic School of Canada, she is out volunteering to various charities and foundations in Canada. She has volunteered and made generous donations to the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and sponsors three children from World Vision. Nancy strongly believes in helping anyone and everyone.
During the holiday seasons, Nancy runs a food and toy drive through her spa’s. To help spread the word, Nancy Baglione runs ads through the local newspaper to get people to bring in their donations. “Right now, if someone were to donate a can good or a toy for the drive, we will give them a free manicure,” explains Nancy. Not only does Nancy Baglione use the help of her spa’s to donate during the holiday season, but she continues to donate throughout the year. “Portions of the tips we receive through my spa’s go to the Sick Kids Hospital,” she explains.
When she does have free time from her spa and from The Aesthetic School of Canada, Nancy Baglione volunteers her time setting up charity events with the Sick Kids Hospital. She has also set up events to raise money to sponsor her family to be a part of the Breast Cancer Walk. “It cost $5,500 to partake in the walk,” explained Nancy, “though I didn't walk myself, I did my raising money for breast cancer awareness so my brother and uncle could walk for the cause.” Aside from helping the Sick Kids Hospital and Breast Cancer Walk, Nancy Baglione also contributed towards Autism Awareness.
