Erik Vrismo Proud of Military Accomplishments

Erik Vrismo graduated high school and decided to serve our country through the United States Air Force. For 15 years, Erik has served as a C-5 Aircraft Loadmaster and in just 12 years he was promoted to become a Master Sergeant. It was through the military that Erik Vrismo was able to go to school. From 2006 to 2009 Erik studied diligently while attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and majored in Professional Aeronautics. Beside the fact that he was a full time student, he remained full time with his command post and held a part time position as a security guard for a night club and he still managed to graduate as a Magna Cum Laude. After completing his undergraduate education, he enrolled and is currently working and is expecting to receive his Masters of Business Administration in Aviation degree soon.
Erik Vrismo takes his career and his various responsibilities seriously. He is very proud and honored to serve in the Air Force. In return, the Air Force has provided many life changing opportunities for him. Erik Vrismo earned several certificates, awards and honors. In 2004, he received the Phoenix Banner, in 2008 he received Government Security Clearance and in 2012 he became 9MM certified. Throughout the years he received multiple awards like the Air Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, A.F. Outstanding Unit Award with Valor Device, Combat Readiness Medal, A.F. Good Conduct Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, A.F. Exp. Service Ribbon with Gold Border, A.F. Longevity Service, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with 1 Device and the A.F. Training Ribbon.
Other than being a hard working student and a soldier, Erik Vrismo is a very caring, selfless and thoughtful individual. “I’ve always had a big heart for those who were less fortunate,” shares Erik, “ That’s why I decided to help as much as I could to help kids get a chance to live life through the Child Fund International.” Erik Vrismo is currently sponsoring seven children through his more than a generous charitable donation. His donation to the Child Fund International, he has provided children who have less than nothing with food, water, medical care, shelter, clothes and an education. “I feel like by helping others I am essentially helping myself as well,” Erik Vrismo philosophizes, “I feel that humanity is ultimately connected to one another as we are all interrelated and that when you give you also received feelings of gratitude and appreciation.
