Sean Ofallon Is Proud of Nursing Accomplishments
His deep passion for helping others stemmed the many volunteer hours he earned during nursing school. As a part of all nursing programs, students are given the opportunity to volunteer their time to gain on the job training through various hospitals and care homes. Sean Ofallon volunteered his time at the local nursing homes. There he did the usual rounds monitoring the elder patients. He also dedicated his time working with disabled children, mostly with children with learning disabilities.
Sean Ofallon truly enjoys being a nurse. “I know being a registered nurse is a job but I do it because I’m helping people,” explains Sean. His friends and family would describe Sean to be a very loyal, honest, reliable, giving, hardworking, caring and very loving person. With only two years experience of being a nurse, Sean Ofallon has made it a goal of his to go back to nursing school. “One day I want to go back to nursing school and maybe become a nurse practitioner,” explains Sean.
Other than bettering his knowledge in the health field, Sean Ofallon enjoyed enjoying volunteering his time to nursing homes and working with disabled children during nursing school. He enjoyed helping those children with learning disabilities. At the various nursing homes he volunteered for, he learned to do rounds and care for elders. This is where his passion for helping others stemmed from. From volunteering, he realized hat others depend on him greatly. From that realization, Sean Ofallon has committed himself to being the greatest nurse he can possibly be.
As a registered nurse, Sean spends all of his time helping patients. When he does have time from his busy work schedule, he enjoys doing various outdoor activities. “Oh yea, I am a huge outdoors person,” exclaims Sean, “I really like fishing, hiking, camping and running.” With his profession being in the health care industry, Sean Ofallon is a very big advocate of being healthy. He loves running to keep up with his health. Other than running, he tries to go to the gym as much as he can to get in a good workout. Growing up in Sarasota, Sean has always been into outdoor activities. At the age of 7, Sean has been training to do Olympic Tae Kwon Do. Sean Ofallon hopes to open a Tae Kwon Do studio of his own one day.
