Students remain in the street - Los estudiantes se mantienen en la calle

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Photographer CarlosBCRRA captured images of students standing their ground on the streets of Caracas, Venezuela, creating barricades with scrap metal and starting fires on the roads in order to limit the movement of security forces. He says the students are demanding change. Right now there are continued street demonstrations, confrontations with security forces, and a shortage of basic needs like flour and toilet paper, he explained. 'I´m trying to show part of the reality of a particular situation. It is a chaotic situation in my country socially, politically and economically,' he said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Following the tense situation in Plaza Altamira in Caracas, student protesters continue to stay in the streets, making barricades to prevent the passage of the state security forces.

Sigue la tensa calma en la Plaza Altamira de la ciudad de Caracas y los estudiantes continuan en las calles, haciendo barricadas para impedir el paso de los efectivos de seguridad del estado.
