Rally in Orlando, Florida for Venezuela

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Lola Gomez says Venezuelan Americans came together in Orlando, Florida, on February 22 to stand in solidarity with those protesting in Venezuela. Protesters were demanding that the Venezuelan government stop repressing students and citizens who are demonstrating peacefully. Gomez, a Venezuelan herself, feels that she must help her fellow countrymen. 'Although I am not in my country with them protesting with them now, I must help them somehow,' she said. 'I lived most of my life in Venezuela. What is happening today in Venezuela is the consequences of people being tired of so many abuses, so many limitations, so many controls and none provide them a decent quality of life,' she said.
