On Sunday 23 of February it was hard to move around the downtown streets. I don't know if there will be information how many people came to barricades that day, but of all the three months of protests I think that day there was the biggest number. It seemed like the whole city came to honor the heroes. Many people came with their children to show where the blood was shed for their future. It also seemed like everybody brought flowers. The streets where the battles had taken place were now literally covered with flowers. In places where the heroes were killed the piles of flowers grew higher by minute. Men and women were crying - all over the city as the downtown turned into one big memorial. I heard several times little kids asking their parents why people around were crying... I hope parents were able to explain what a high price was paid for this chance for all of us to build new Ukraine... We should never forget that price!
