Quiana & Brandon Take New York

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Native New Yorker Quia Querisma brought her two children to the city every year to visit family, but their trip in 2007 was the first one they were really able to remember all the tourist sites and attractions.
    - Verybecoming, CNN iReport producer

I'm originally from New York and my family relocated to Dallas when I was 15. After I had children, I was adamant about bringing them back to New York to visit the rest of my family. It started when my eldest, Quiana, was six months old and we consistently visited every other year.

For the most part, the kids were too young to remember or really care about visiting New York, but in 2007, when they were 6 and 8 years old, I took them all over the city. We met with friends and explored Times Square, took a double-decker bus tour, visited the NBC Experience, and ventured to the Top of the Rock. It was a long few days for them but they had the best time and remember it vividly.
