    Alaskain Slamon?

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     kcthornton is an English professor at Okefenokee Technical College, Waycross, Georgia. He spotted this sign while eating in a restaurant in Valdosta, Georgia, and had to run outside and snap a photo. "When I saw that and I'm phonetically sounding this thing out -- Alaskain Slamon -- it sounds very fierce. I just pictured this giant fish with a shield and a sword ... and not only that, the introductory statement, 'Start the new' -- start the new what? This ia comedy routine in itself." Misspelled words have been his pet peeve for years. "There's a right way and a wrong way to spell things."
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

Spotted in Valdosta, GA. Start the new? Start the new what? Alaskain Slamon? Is this a World of Warcraft character? I wanted to go in and say, "I'm here to start the new, and I'd like to start it with your Alaskain Slamon."
