This iReport is part of an assignment:
What are you watching?
Lights out, Seinfeld On, Goodnight World
As a person on the Autism Spectrum, I need my routine.
Three television shows have made it into my routine but Seinfeld's the gold standard. I like sitcoms and will watch others, but something about Seinfeld calms me right down.
Why, you might ask? There is something to be said about watching a show about "nothing". I have seen every episode, I believe at this point, and I have no shame. It may be an "old" sitcom, but there is a genius behind it all. Larry David found a way to make something entertaining and funny without it seeming fake or overly dramatic and it's not over-stimulating like most new shows are with the dramatic music and intense scenes.
So with that said, it's time for bed and anyone who follows me on Twitter (@GretchenLeary) knows my nightly routine tweet which usually reads:
"Lights out, Seinfeld on, Goodnight World."
