RAIN on the way in SoCal

Fingers crossed here in the high desert of California. It is raining in most parts of California now, together with long awaited snow at higher levels. We are in the high desert of Southern California and have not yet had any rain, but just a few sprinkles early this morning. We awoke to another beautiful sunrise with wonderful clouds blowing in ahead of 2 storms on the way.  I took photos & video of the clouds arriving during the day and will follow-up tomorrow with more.  The first video shows a very dark cloud blowing in over the West end of Joshua Tree National Park. The weather people are reporting that we will have rain here beginning late tonight or early Friday morning with rain all day. YEAH! Please enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Yucca Valley, CA.
