Buffalo New York To Get A Chesterton Academy

Buffalo New York to get a Chesterton Academy

The Chesterton Academy was created as a kind of ‘grass roots’ movement of parents where a new independent private high school in the Catholic tradition was born.

Initiated in 2008 with only 10 students in Edina Minnesota, it has now flourished with well over 150 students set for next year in grades 9 through 12. Two new schools will open in Chicago and Buffalo New York in September 2014.

Named after the famed English writer G.K. Chesterton – the Chesterton Academy embraces a classical, integrated, Catholic curriculum to build virtuous young men and women in the Catholic tradition of faith and reason; that will be our future leaders and problem solvers. The result - through the study of art, music, literature, language, history, mathematics, science, philosophy and religion, our young adults are being prepared to be creative and rational thinkers, ready to contribute to society in a meaningful way, and to promote a culture of life.

The Buffalo Chesterton Academy is now accepting applications for its September classes. For more information and to download an application; please visit buffalochestertonacademy.org
