Pile up on I-25
Hours after the pile up tow trucks still work to remove cars and trucks from north bound I-25. On March 1st, shortly after 10:30 am over 100 cars and a semi-truck were part of a massive crash that sent at least 20 to area hospitals and caused one fatality. I had driven this same area north bound I-25, between University and Logan earlier that morning, snow had just started to fall and the road was dry. But within a few short hours conditions rapidly changed, making roads deceptively slick. The force of this crash was so great that cars ended up under other cars and upsetting many others.
