    A Split Second In Time

I was looking at the photo submitted by JoeAnthony where he captured the moment a meteor entered the frame while filming the aurora.
It made me think of how photography captures moments and shapes that will never happen again. The way water splashes when captured in film is stunningly beautiful and photography allows us to capture that moment. I took this photo while rafting on the Animas river near Durango, Colorado. I find myself just studying the water drops and shape of the water that occurred that precise moment in time.
