    Chicago's Indian Quarter!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Norman Massel has lived in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago for 32 years. He’s just a few blocks away from Devon Avenue, which is the heart of the Indian quarter of town. “When the street is bustling with visitors and the fragrance of curried Indian cuisine fills the air, you feel like you are visiting New Delhi or Mumbai!” he said.

Two of his other favorite parts of the city include the #22 bus line, which goes down Clark Street, and the sometimes forgotten motel district, which he says he likes for “nostalgic reasons.”

The haute cuisine in Chicago's Indian Quarter is without comparison. [sans pareil] The Indain buffets are available all down Devon ave. in the Rogers Park area of Chicago. These buffet photos were from the Viceroy Restaurant on Devon ave.
