    Unprecendented Mobilization of Ukrainian Troops

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iheid8 said that he has seen several Army vehicles heading to the Army Academy of Ukraine after the government announced that it will mobilize its armed forces in response to Russia's decision to move troops into Ukraine. "There is spirit of unity in Ukraine and people are prepared to defend their country," he said. "Although, they primarily want the Russian troops to leave Ukraine peacefully."

He told us that life goes on as usual in Ukraine, but Russian aggression is the number one topic of discussion. "People are saying that this is a critical moment for Ukraine to confirm its independence and assert its departure from Russian influence."

People are afraid and angry that Russian troops have free access to Ukraine, he adds. "We hope that we can solve this peacefully and then have the Russian military base completely removed from Crimea."
    - Verybecoming, CNN iReport producer

Russia is acting as an aggressor in a perilous conflict with Ukraine. The tensions are running all-time high between the two powerful neighboring countries. Troops in Ukraine have been put on high alert. Army vehicles on the move near the military base in Lviv.
