Thorny Tales Worth Telling: Personal Stories That Will Inspire You During Life’s Hard Times

    PRESS RELEASE  For Immediate Release

Aliso Viejo, California – February, 24, 2014 – many people go through hard times at one point or another in their life, but acknowledging that somebody is there for them can be difficult when it feels like they’re all alone. Reading other people’s stories can help to ease their pain and a new book titled, Thorns To Be Thankful For: Personal Stories of Overcoming Hard Times can help to do just that.

Co-authored by Cherry-Ann Carew, a successful solopreneur and 40+ other contributors, who have gone through personal ordeals, yet have come out stronger, Thorns To Be Thankful For shows readers, “How past experiences can influence how we progress through life; how each individual has grown from those occurrences and how they are using it to make a positive impact in the world,” said, Cherry-Ann.

Each author wrote about past events that caused them grief. Many of the experiences that they went through are heartbreaking - some left them feeling devastated, trapped and hopeless. Yet, recalling their stories allowed them to see how valuable a life lesson it was; on reflection, they realised that while the circumstance didn’t feel good at the time, it played an important part in shaping them.

From facing their greatest adversity, learning to let go of what society told them to be, removing their self-limiting beliefs, or having to start all over again – a thorn that ultimately proved to be a life lesson that helped each person to grow mentally, physically and spiritually. The book is a testament that even if bad things happened in the past, or are still occurring, it’s possible to turn life around.

“Each chapter gives an overview into each person’s core, as they valiantly share what their personal journey was like… how they moved past fear and embraced individual responsibility for change. You’ll read their stories and feel not only inspired, but know that there is good in our world and people do care,” added Cherry-Ann, whose hope is that people will be encouraged and motivated to understand that whatever life throws at them, it’s possible to come out with their heads held high.

Thorns To Be Thankful For: Personal Stories of Overcoming Hard Times is available on Amazon Kindle for $0.99 and $18.99 in paperback format.
