    Mirador Welcomes Rick Steves to Talk About “Travel As A Political Act”

    With a packed house, Mirador welcomed residents and guests to hear Rick Steves give an engaging presentation and talk about his book, Travel As A Political Act. Through his television show, Rick Steves has shown his audience the world, and at during his two presentations, he showed the audience how the world sees America.

    “Rick Steves is a fascinating guy,” said Aaron DeNovellis, executive director at Mirador. “He is a well-known television personality and travel expert, and listening to him talk about how the world sees America based on his experiences was eye opening. It was a real treat to hear Rick Steves talk and share from his book.”

    Rick Steves is known for his television series, Rick Steves’ Europe, and he has a radio show, Travel with Rick Steves. He has authored several travel guides in addition to writing Travel As A Political Act.
