Who taught you to love food?

    More from BrendaOlson

Ever since I switched to a healthy eating lifestyle, I have been obsessed with converting my favorite recipes into healthy alternative recipes simply by avoiding white flour, lowering the fat and sugar, and using organic whole food ingredients.

Lilly Ayotte, a New Hampshire teenager, promoted a program at her school to encourage eating healthy breakfasts. She recently appeared on THE CHEW to share one of her recipes for a quick breakfast on the go. She used yogurt in her recipe instead of high fat cream cheese and butter and she used oats for a crust instead of processed white flour. I decided to bake the gluten free healthy breakfast bar and it was delicious.

Congratulations, Lilly, for creating an excellent healthy alternative to a high fat processed breakfast on the go. The Blueberry Delight is delicious and a must try.
