Subtly Chic Senior Living Residence Opens in Fairhope – Ready to Provide Personal Care to Aging Seniors

Combining personal care with intimate design, Country Place Senior Living opened its first assisted living residence in Fairhope in February 2014. The new senior living residence located in Fairhope (8127 Gayfer Road Extension), allows seniors to enjoy small-town charm, yet have the comfort of being close to urban cities. Featuring an innovative concept developed from research collected from assisted living residents, the 24 suite model creates a home with a cozy ambiance where residents receive quality care from highly trained staff members. The residence plans to be a resource for families who live in the surrounding area by featuring free educational health care speakers and by partnering with local nonprofits to host support groups.
“Fairhope is a beautiful town, and we are all eager to open our doors and become a true part of the neighborhood. We will host monthly rotary book club meetings for the public, and we will actively look for ways to partner with the community,” expressed Cecile Godfrey, administrator for Country Place Senior Living in Fairhope. “Helping others is a part of our mission, and we seek to serve seniors in our residences by providing compassionate care and enriching activities that keep life fun.”

Country Place Senior Living understands that everyone has different physical capabilities and limitations. With this knowledge in mind, the building was designed so that every senior’s residence is within 150 feet of all features and amenities. The intimate layout of the community encourages social interaction and accommodates various levels of physical health and stamina.

“Being able to bring this secure and supportive residence in which seniors can enjoy individuality, independence and personal dignity is a privilege for us,” said Jill Lentini, CP Homes director of operations.

Located on the Eastern shores of the Mobile Bay in southern Alabama, Country Place Senior Living of Fairhope is nestled in a delightful area that is just a short drive from Mobile and Pensacola. Seniors will enjoy shopping, entertainment, local parks and recreational areas and a vibrant downtown, which are just minutes away.
