This iReport is part of an assignment:
    I'm more than my score

    More from ayoyo123

    My life after the SATs

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     College student ayoyo123 scored 2090 out of 2400 on his SAT college exam. The new SAT changes will revert the scoring back to its original 1600 point scale. He says his SAT score did not affect his life, especially because he went to a SAT optional school. He says the classes he has taken in college put an emphasis on understanding information and solving problems creatively. if he had a chance to change the SATs, he says he would make it an optional test. 'There are so many factors that determine how someone does on the SATs, availability of tutoring sessions, innate test taking ability, financial resources, so it is difficult to determine true academic ability from the exam.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

I can honestly say that the SATs haven’t had much of an impact on my academic career.
