    Introduce CNN Student News

    South High Marathon Dance 2014

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Amanda Distasio photographed students at the dance marathon that was held by South Glen Falls High School on March 8. She says students danced for 28 hours straight with a two hour break in between in order to raise money for the annual charity event. Her daughter Ceara was one of the students who participated in the event. Distasio says she was incredibly proud of her daughter and all the other students who spent hours dancing for those in need. This year the event raised more than half a million dollars for charity. The money will go to 39 local recipients.
