March 10. Protest in Iceland again in Reykjavik

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ander photographed protesters outside Iceland's parliament building in Reykjavik on March 10. He says people have been demonstrating on weekends demanding a European Union referendum in Iceland. He says on this day, protesters were holding bananas as a critique of the government. 'The bananas are telling what the people think of the government. That it is a banana republic,' he said.

Still a protest meeting today in Reykjavik in front of the Parliament building .
People demanding that the Goverment keeps its promise on holding a national refferendum on talking to EU - on joining,
People made speaches , and asked - are you working for the Goverment - or is the Goverment working for you .
Parliament was in session ,and discussing the matter about the natinal refferendum
But the weather was cold , raining and quite windy .
The protest was peaceful but with a lot of noise - and you can see on the video - members of Parliament where watching and taking photos from inside the Parliament building
