"Miss Coney Island and her dancing cat!"

I stopped at Coney Island Sunday to get some knish on the boardwalk from Robin, aka the "Knish Lady" and because it was so mild, the vendors, shop and game owners were doing their spring cleaning.
as I was heading home, I came across "Miss Coney Island and her cat." who was up and dancing. For 25 cents, almost unheard of today she and her dancing cat will put on an adorable show for you. What made it all the more special for me is her chubby cat, adorned with bracelets and necklace looks like my tuxedo cat Tupac.
What a fun day, long and coming after the winter we had. The owner of the exhibit also has a marvelous window display of vintage relics, carousels, etc. which you can also watch going around for a quarter. A little boy on the street was completely mesmorized by this, I took his picture.
The owner of the displays also has a game next to it where you can win some pretty big prizes, even a camera, that was in preporation, due to open soon.
He told me he bought Miss Coney from a vendor in Connecticut 25 yrs. ago, and that she was once an Indian princess. I would say she is fairly well traveled.
I did a video of the dancing duo which I am going to try and upload following. We'll see.
