Seeing A World I Never Knew Existed

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jennifer2015 is living and studying in Tel Aviv, Israel, until the end of May. She says she's learned a lot from her time overseas. 'My experience has taught me to be more understanding and tolerant toward others. I have learned that great places, opportunities and people do exist outside of my small bubble in the U.S. I have also learned the importance of immersing myself in a different culture in order to become more well-rounded.'
    - katie, CNN iReport producer

I am a junior studying journalism at the University of Florida. I'm currently studying abroad in Tel Aviv, Israel, for the semester because I wanted to experience life in a country that has significant meaning to me. At Tel Aviv University, I have been able to learn in and about an environment that is not only culturally enriching but geographically unique. I am continuously amazed each day about the new sites I've been exposed to. From the mountainous valleys in the Northern Galilee to the rocky deserts of the Negev, each day becomes better than the last. Studying abroad has exposed me to people and places I never knew existed until now.
