Why study abroad? Ask Michelle Obama

    It changed my life

I'm from Chile and over here is pretty strange to see a foreing teenager. Thanks to AFS (American Field Service) I traveled to Norway for an entire year and it totally changed my perception of life. It tought me so much about myself and about the impact each of us has.
I made new friends in new languages, I went to a new school, I met people from all over the world; I learned norwegian from scratch...everything was new and unforgettable.
It isn't easy though, and that's what makes living and studying abroad so interesting, it really teaches you to live again.

I was 16 years old, now I'm 22 and I'll go back to Norway thanks to my University. Once you start, you won't ever stop.
