Changing The Culture in America to Encourage Americans to Study Abroad.

As an immigration lawyer I deal with many cultures around the world. While most people around the world like America, most Americans still think that people hate them abroad. Many students grew up with this culture of fear of going overseas and as such many of them are not willing to take a chance.

What I would suggest is to change the attitude towards people of other countries. If we teach US citizens that people of other cultures and other cultures are actually "not that bad", the fear might go away encouraging them to study abroad.

My question is why not teach our young people about the good of other cultures instead of what the 'hate or fear' they learn from the media?
