Why study abroad? Ask Michelle Obama
How to make our Voices Heard
I am an Egyptian peace activist that works on the Israeli/Arab conflict resolution and Interfaith Dialogue between Muslims & Jews.
I work with an Israeli Peace movement called YaLa Young leaders initiated by The Peres peace center in Tel Aviv for almost 3 years now, this is the link to our FB page https://www.facebook.com/yalaYL
I also Blog for the Jerusalem Post for more than 2 years now, Yeah I know it sounds weird for an Egyptian to write a for an Israeli Right wing paper but I made a good name for myself through these 3 years, the link to my writings at the J Post http://blogs.jpost.com/users/egypts-missing-peace
I have attended Peace conferences outside of Egypt, my latest was attending the Annual Moroccan Jewish Caravan and had a historic opportunity to meet with Mr Andrea Azolay at his office in the Royal Palace, He is the Senior Advisor to the King Morocco. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Azoulay
I had my fair share of troubles here in Egypt because of what I do but when you ask around they will all tell you how determinant I am in my beliefs of peace & interfaith dialogue.
I only had a one Live Interview on Al Hurra channel about my Activism, this is the link to my interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL-_q3XMM4s
Through my 3 years of my work I have seen & experienced wonderful stories and sad ones too that I really would love to express and show it to the whole world to prove that there is a real hope for Peace that can lead to real coexistence between Israelis and Arabs.
Please review my work and I am ready to be interviewed so we can show the world some Hope and convince some to join me and my friends to achieve what we dream of.
