Newgrange Passage Tomb
My wife and I enjoy exploring sites around the world that are historical and mythical. So, while in Dublin, we definitely had to take a little detour to visit the Newgrange Passage Tomb.
This is a fascinating 5,000 year old passage tomb along the River Boyne. It is positioned such to allow illumination of the tomb during the Winter Solstice.
From Newgrange we visited the Hill of Tara, a fantastic archeological complex with facinating history mixed with mythology.
