A Study-Abroad Student's Perspective of France
Last september, as a senior in college, I studied abroad in the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence, France. Luckily, I was in a program that encouraged travel and also happened to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world - Provence. These photos are from my travels around France. They begin with the Place Charles de Gaulle in Aix-en-Provence, they explore the Cote D'Azur, Marseille, the Vaucluse, Paris, Tours, and finally, Aix once more. The second-to-last shot is a favorite of mine. It is looking north to the alps from the summit of Mont St. Victoire, a large, steep, rocky peak outside of Aix. It was quite a sight to behold the snow in the alps as I basked in the beautiful sunset of an early December evening from Aix. I hope you enjoy the photos!
