    Is this a Landing Gear?

That there are specialists who read and translate satellite images is a very good thing. Because the number of possible "debris" one sees floating almost everywhere in the ocean is quite astonishing. And for the non-initiated the danger is real that he will see what he expects to see.

When I think of a plane in the ocean, I expect not a single large piece, but many small pieces. I also expect that some of these smaller pieces will end up close to each other in the same neighbourhood.

That's exactly what I found tonight: a lot of small objects, close to what appears to be a landing gear. I also saw at least three ships seemingly getting away from the debris field (if it is a debris field).
