This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Protesters occupy Taiwan legislature

It's not about the agreement, it's about the freedom

Instead of protesting Cross-Strait Agreement on Trade in Services, the students at Legislative Yuan are fighting for the democracy in Taiwan. The trigger of this protest is because the government party brought the agreement into conclusion through illegal procedure during the meeting at Legislative Yuan on March 17th. It only took less than one minute from the opening announcement to the conclusion of the agreement. The most ridiculous part is, one MP did the opening and ending statements during that minute, and Taiwan government thinks that was totally enough to show "consensus" towards the agreement that will influences all Taiwanese. Moreover, during that minute, other MPs were having physical brawls. To put it simply, we Taiwanese people are facing the most terrible political circumstance due to those incompetent MPs. This protest is not only against the government party's ignorance, but also against those politicians that greatly disgrace the virtue of democracy that Taiwanese people truly believe in.
Now, those who cannot join in the scene are watching and supporting through internet and social media. And the population is not restricted in students.
