Second Helpings: New Season of Epicure Serves More Healthy Recipes by Top Chefs & Docs

Like any great meal, a second helping is in demand. The new season of the Telly Award winning Epicure with Chef MDs debuts online on March 25th. In case you missed it the first time around, the web series teams DC’s finest chefs with physicians from George Washington Medical Faculty Associates (GW MFA) to prepare simple, healthy recipes for everything from tapas to multi-course meals. Epicure with Chef MDs is a production of GW MFA and helmed by Former Food Network Host and our esteemed leader Marc Silverstein.

The new season features an all-star lineup of celebrated chefs, including Spike Mendelsohn of Good Stuff Eatery, Vikram Sunderam of Rasika, Ris Lacoste of RIS, Jeff Tunks of Fuego Cocina y Tequileria and David Guas of Bayou Bakery. The healthy recipes are perfect for patients with diabetes or heart disease, pregnant women, cancer patients and people with food allergies. The series includes an accompanying downloadable cookbook to support smart eating habits and healthier lifestyles.

Regardless of your health condition, Epicure with the Chef MDs will serve up great tastes, a dash of humor, and a healthy dose of fresh ingredients, recipes for meals and snacks to support wellness for every viewer.

If you’re hungry for more, make sure you check out Season One, which featured such renowned chefs as The Inn at Little Washington’s Patrick O’Connell, “Chef Geoff” Tracy, Marcel’s Robert Wiedmaier and Bob Kinkead. The series was such a hit online, nearly 3000 cookbooks were downloaded.
