This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Protesters occupy Taiwan legislature

It is all about "Banality of Evil" now!

This occupation movement is critical for Taiwan's future, so we are not allowed to lose.

"Amnesty International" has already made a suggestion that Taiwanese police officers should defend the right of people instead of complying with the order form the above on the night of 29 March. This recalled me of a concept “Banality of Evil”, suggested by the philosopher Hannah Arendt, which described the true evilness that the high-ranking Nazi viewed the Holocaust just as an act of conforming orders.

Now Taiwanese police officers are facing the same situation, they can join the citizens to defend their own right by disobeying the order to arrest the professors and students inside the Legislator Yuan rather than being the mindless bureaucrats. With their support, the authorities would probably to reconsider to negotiate with people. We will fight to the last second until the justice and democracy win.
