"The Mafa People: A Surviving Nation"

A Mafa girl carries gallons of water to her family's hut within the Northern region of Cameroon. She is barely 8 years old, but she has the strength to journey miles in the dry heat to acquire water for her parents and siblings. Her story is the same as many children who have grown up in the hitherlands. They survive through the ordeals of living in an isolated land. An area far away from plumbing, automobiles, supermarkets, playgrounds, buildings with central air conditioning, and other luxury items that technology has to offer. For we are the Mafa tribe, a people built to persevere against the odds.
