Orlando University Raises Financial Grant by 7% to Counter Expected Fee Rise

Orlando University has recently raised its financial aid by 7%, reserved for students, in the wake of rising costs of education across the Middle East

Orlando University is an eminent online university that offers accredited, internationally recognized online courses and programs to distant students and working professionals. The online degree programs at Orlando University is helping young aspiring professionals in enhancing their academic qualifications and ultimately broadening their career prospects in today’s highly challenging employment market.

Orlando University has been introducing scholarships and financial grants on its online programs and courses from time to time. Only recently they invested an endowment of $ 7 million to their scholarship fund. This has in turn increased the amount of enrollments and scholarship applications received for various degree programs this year. Charlotte Robinson, the Communications Director at Orlando University stated, “Orlando University aims at higher education par excellence and our team has always strived for the best in what they do. Our recent investment of grants is subjected to the recent rising fees for higher education in the Middle East region. We have students coming in from all parts of the Gulf and we have listened to how they feel about the rising fees. It would be unfair if they choose to discontinue their education only because it has been placed out of their reach.”

Egypt and UAE have been experiencing protests in the past couple of years regarding the rising fee in the region’s acclaimed universities, boycotting lectures and entire programs. Some of the protests even led to the temporary closing of various universities. In times like this, a financial grant coming from an internationally accredited online university is a ray of hope for the deserving few.

In recent years the cost of education and particularly higher education has spiked exponentially all over the world. This has affected the working adults to a great deal, as going back to college to complete higher education is already a tough decision for them due to strict time management issues. However, it becomes even more difficult to continue education if the cost of their desired qualifications is beyond their affordability. In times like these, Orlando University has taken bold steps to ensure that online students, particularly in the region of MENA, are provided cost effective online degree programs so that they don’t desert their dreams of becoming highly qualified in their desired field of study.
