This iReport is part of an assignment:
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370
New Multiple Satellite Images Show Possible Plane Debris
The DigitalGlobe /Tomnod website is for outsourcing satellite images to the public to search for images of any possible debris from the Maylasian Airlines Flight 370. I've looked over 1,300 images as of last night. Yesterday I found a large group of maps bordering each other that have 4 different pieces of what appears to be large pieces of debris. The map grid numbers are : 112669, 110552, 105469, 108758 & 112177 , & 103701 show the larger pieces. Two of them appear to be just under 20m and 1 is definitely larger. They look like large torn pieces of paper, with jagged edges. These are definitely not boats, as I have observed several boats during these satellite image searches. Most of these images were taken Sunday March 16 approximately 4:46am. There were other images that showed possible smaller debris: 110459, 107189, 106100, 109310, 111318, 110131, 106216, 113378, 109117, 112256, 112408, 108981. I feel a sense of urgency to get this information to someone who can evaluate these images and perhaps forward them to searchers. These images can be observed on my Twitter feed, lemared23. I am also including them in this report. If they turn out to be debris from the plane I hope it will help the search teams to locate some of the wreckage. I have sent an email to DigitalGlobe, yesterday afternoon, but as of this report I have not had any response. Thanks to DigitalGlobe & Tomnod for asking the public's help in reviewing the images.
