    200 students stormed into Taiwan's Executive Yuan, 10 wounded

     

    TAIPEI, Taiwan, March 23- Around 200 students stormed into Taiwan's Executive Yuan on Sunday evening, the number of people occupying the executive yuan is increasing. At least 10 people are wounded.

    Physical altercations between the riot police and the students has occurred, at least 10 people are wounded and hospitalized during the invasion.

    They chanted slogans including, "Peace prevails!", "Withdraw services trade with China", as some of the protesters sit or lay on the ground, a strategy to save energy to prolong the protest.

    President Ma Ying-jeou stressed the importance and benefits of services trade pact with China at a news conference Sunday morning, but the protesters aren't satisfied and decided to increase the scale of the protest.
