This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Protesters occupy Taiwan legislature

Hey Ma! Do You Hear Your People Sing

These days, students in Taiwan have occupied legislature for protesting and asking for government's responses to reviewing the Cross-Strait Service Trade Agreement. The occupation has lasted for about a week. We still receive nothing from our government. Getting no responses, some students turned to the Executive Yuan for protesting. However, yesterday (3/24) students in Executive Yuan were suddenly dispersed by the police. Police clashed with students. Some students even shed blood during the conflict. The demonstration of occupying the Executive Yuan ended in a violent clash with the police at last. This is what happened in Taiwan right away.

"Do you hear the people sing
Singing the song of angry men"

The lyric of the song from the movie Les Miserables just fit our Taiwanese's feeling right now. We Taiwanese are the angry men and we are now in a miserable democracy world.
